What's Your First E-Crater Sale of the Year?

I haven't had my first E-Crater sale of the year, but I thought it would be interesting and fun to see what's selling this early in the year. When I do get my first sale of the year, I'll be back to share all the happy details.

Tillie are you sending your information to the search engines, marketing your clothing on sites? If you need direction on how to start ask one of us, Me, Liz, Book Barn, Marilyn, Bella we are always listing ways we are using to get traffic and visibility.

Hi Tillie and Everybody, As Marilyn has mentioned, E-Crater has a list of 100 search engines (besides Google, etc.) that sellers can submit their sites to. I've been going down the list systematically, albeit slowly, and looking for ones without reciprocal linking (as suggested by Comycgirl) and submitting my information to those engines. I haven't seen results yet through my Google Analytics, but I've just started. It will take time and patience, but then such has been the course of my progress of selling online. I hope that helps some, because I think we've all been frustrated a time or two.

Hi Tillie and everybody,

On your E-Crater admin page near the bottom of the menu on left, there's an item, "Promote Your Store." The list with 100 search engines is included near the bottom of the page once you click "Promote Your Store." Read it over and see what will work for you. It all takes time, but pays off in the end with steady sales. I hope this helps!

Plus Marilyn is listing some places here as well and there is a link section in the forum as well I think. I will add to the list with some I do in case any of you guys are not using them yet. One thing we all have to remember is that it benefits each of us if others succeed. So put on your thinking caps and lets see how we can make ecrater the next big thing!

What's good for one is good for all of us! Another thought is to input "free search engine submission" into google and you'll come up with a bunch of free search engines to submit to as well.

January 3. Wedgwood Rabbit Plate. I was so shocked because on December 31, 2008 I had just sold another Wedgwood plate. I thought to myself, Why all of a sudden? Both of them had sold within a few days of each other. Well, then I read that Wedgwood was filing for bankruptcy. I thought maybe that was the reason for the sudden interest.
