You are absolutely right about the holidays! There was a time when gifts for everyone was a requirement and the list was much longer...all of my shopping was done by September. Now we are pressed in to getting it all done by December. Thank goodness shopping for children is so much easier than adults. :-)

I'm busy making new products and always wondering in the middle of it, what is it, do I feed it or just display it? That is the fun part of creating your product line as I never know what will be next. Something to saher here about it being a slow sales period for some of us; I have 88 items in my lttle corner store, no neon lights or real advertising. I do it because its fun, I know, Lucky me. However, this past month, May 2009, I had 1,676 hits which is a lot for me, I'm usually at 4 or 6 hundred.

.Point? The time may be upon us when the buyer out there is thinking about Christmas and is starting to look around, that's possible isn't it?

If so, then keep your stores in spiffy shape and everything in an easy to find format, because the buyer may be getting ready to bite.

I've been listing mostly McCall's patterns: mostly home decor but some clothing. Also discontinued yarn. Other than that, tweaking each listing to bring them in to view on Google and MSN searches and revising shipping as I go. Listing in all categories as time allows throughout the day.

How do we know what to charge for our vintage sewing patterns? Anyone have any formulas. I recently acquired some wonderful 60s uncut simplicity patterns. Everything is there including the instructions.

Crafts have slowed a bit for me. I thought maybe people are looking forward to outdoor activities rather than indoor, cozy up in the Winter stuff to do. I have many magazines with craft ideas and Fabric for the Spring and Summer months, though, in my Ecrater store.
