NA'Arah, start promoting your store, there is a list on ecrater, on your admin page in left column under promote your store, but read some of the info here first. Promotion takes a while to kick in, so the sooner you start the better. Be patient, these things can take a while to take off.

NA'Arah, welcome aboard! Your store is perfect! Pictures, prices, descriptions. The only thing I would suggest is to use broader descriptions in the title...these keywords draw people in.

I am a new ecrater seller and I am getting some traffic, but no orders. I am trying to figure out what is stopping people from buying. Any suggestions?

Spring has sprung and many of my spring and summer Name Brand pieces have found new homes. Terry Crosby, don't call your sunglasses replicas if they are retro reproductions. Using the word replica is a red flag to get your items flagged for deletion.

I support what Abellamiento just wrote 100% but to my mind there is a much more serious reason not to buy or sell replica designer items and that is that the sole reason for their existence is that the money generated by the sale of fake copyrighted items supports illegal drug activity and terrorism.

If you have family or friends in a war zone, bear in mind that if you are carrying a fake designer bag, sunglasses, replica perfume etc, that financial exchange may have been the money that bought the land mine or bullet that will kill or maim your loved one. You just can't be a patriotic American and shrug off the counterfeit goods in your closet or store. The two are not compatible.

Just a quick note about E-Bay (and other auction/selling sites) policing the sale of designer handbags and other designer items. While it may seem detrimental and irritating to the seller, and I'm not in the business of defending E-Bay or other large companies, E-Bay and all the others have to do this or they can be sued for big bucks by the actual manufacturers of designer goods.

The best way to think about this is how would you feel if someone came along and let's say decided to use your website name in some way without your permission. You wouldn't be very happy. That's the way companies feel about others selling knock offs of designer handbags. Another way to think about it too is that millions of our taxpayer dollars are spent every year in trying to keep knock-offs and pirated goods out of the marketplace; it would really be nice to see some of that money spent on things that really matter, like healthcare, etc., instead of on people who break the law.

I'm very well acquainted with this issue because I worked in a patent and trademark law firm for years and saw all the ways that people will try to circumvent the law to the detriment of the rest of us. As far as I'm concerned, companies who take the proper steps and follow the law and spend the money needed to protect their copyrights and trademarks have every right to expect their products to be sold in the correct manner.
